On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Local IT Support (L2) specialist responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT infrastructure in their manufacturing facility in Bomlitz, Germany. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hardware support, network administration, and IT security to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting our IT systems. This role requires full on-site presence and includes an on-call duty schedule based on agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 IT support for users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage and optimize Office 365, LAN, WAN, and InfoSec solutions.
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware components and network equipment.
- Support network administration, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Monitor and maintain a high level of IT system security.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system performance and security.
- Document technical procedures and provide training to end-users as needed.
- Participate in on-call duty rotations as agreed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support or infrastructure management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, network solutions (LAN/WAN), and IT security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with hardware configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in network administration, including firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- On-site presence in Bomlitz is required.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty rotations.
