On behalf of our bootstrapped startup Client, we’re seeking a Lead developer to strengthen their team. They develop their very own product, being a CRM for a niche market.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

o Main (and last) code reviewer across all codebases, coordinating activities with other leads and ensuring that no bugs or regressions are introduced in the code

o Main contact point for production downtimes, coordinating Devops and developer teams towards issue resolutions and service restore

o Supervise development activities, ensuring deliveries on time

o Maintain and develop software architecture, tackling scalability and performance issues while ensuring a smooth and productive developer experience

o Act as a bridge between the engineering and product teams, decomposing technical requirements into actionable tasks o Optimize web application for performance, responsiveness, and user experience

o Report progress, challenges, and key insights to the CTO, providing regular updates on project milestones and technical initiatives

Requirements:

o 5+ years professional experience

o 2+ years experience in highlight role (principal/lead developer, team leader)

o Solid experience with Java and its ecosystem, Javascript, React, and Github o team management skills o experience with designing architectures and aligning processes

o English (C1) mandatory, German as an advantage
