The role

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support the sales department in the preparation of technical offers. This role is crucial in helping the sales team achieve their targets and contributing to the overall success of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and a deep understanding of wastewater treatment and water reuse technologies.

Day-to-day tasks:

- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and evaluate customer requirements.
- Prepare flow diagrams and other technical documents required for the sales process.
- Develop technical offers, including cost estimations, by leveraging knowledge of specific technologies for wastewater treatment and water reuse.
- Create successful system designs based on knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest water treatment technologies and share expertise within an international team.
- Maintain a project reference database to support sales and engineering efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience (including relevant internships) within the wastewater treatment industry.
- Proven experience in process engineering with excellent technical skills.
- Knowledge of process-related standards and experience in process simulations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Analytical thinking with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in German and business-fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
